Master Gunnery Sgt. Joshua Montgomery (birth name Hayes) is an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper that has served for more than 22 years. Renowned for his leadership skills and fortitude in the field, Josh is well respected and valued by the United Nations Space Command and Office of Naval Intelligence alike.
Early Life[]
Joshua was born in Wright, Wyoming to Jared, a UNSC veteran, and Carrie Hayes, a homebody. They lived a relatively average few years out in the countryside, though his father was recalled to service when Josh was merely 3 years old after an "alien threat" had declared war on humanity. Because of this, his mother struggled to support him for years, living off of food stamps and welfare checks through elementary and middle school. From her, he learned independence and fortitude at a young age.
